Dream Awake – Voodoo – July 6th

Fresh off their set at Download festival, Belfast Metalcore act Dream Awake are set to embark on their second tour of the passed year. ‘Don’t Hold Your Breathe’ is set to be a short 3 show tour of Ireland starting in Belfast and making stops in Dublin and Omagh along the way. The belfast date is in Voodoo on Thursday the 6th of July and support comes from Monkey Puzzle, Heel Of Achilles and Victim Royal. This should be a great way for the guys to kick off the tour and with Heel Of Achilles playing their first show since May, this should be one to keep your eye on.

Belfest – QUB Bar Sub – July 7th

In this month’s edition of Treason we had a word with Belfest’s chief organiser, Eoin Bannon about the show and how the idea came about. Now the time is upon us and we’ll get to bask in the glory of local music in Queen’s Students Union. This Friday will see a bangin’ lineup of Alpha Twin, Crossfire Hurricanes, Mosmo Strange, Surf Green, Gnarkats, Part Time Pilots, The Pottingers and Mosa take to the stage in the bar sub for a full day of riffs and pints. We will certainly be there, will you? Check out our Interview with Eoin Bannon from the first Treason issue! We’ve also curated a playlist to get you in the mood.
