Young punks Surf Green reached a new level in February when they released their ‘Sweet Nothings’ single. Professional production and innovative songwriting on the track brought them a lot of attention from the Belfast scene and led to them playing a lot more regularly. It seems they have managed to shock us again with this new release.
Innovation has remained central to the thematic material in ‘Part Two’ with choppy rhythms, a chaotic structure and a certain unexpected left hook of a breakdown section that takes the listener on an off the rails aural rollercoaster ride that you have to hear for yourself to believe.
