We are very pleased to assist ferocious stoner-punk duo Paranoids in launching the video for their new single ‘Guilty Cry’.
Produced by Weathered Media with the song recorded, mixed and mastered by Graham Davidson of Half Bap Studios in Cathedral Quarter, Belfast – the song looks at the loneliness and guilt of the afterparty with angst and clenched teeth. In a recent interview with Warren ‘The Tins’ Tinsley (guitarist/ fuzzmaster/ vocalist) revealed that he wrote the song when he was 19. The savage dirty guitars, energetic chorus and pounding drums complement the themes of the tracks appropriately – carrying a strong essence of Therapy? meets Nirvana which is always a great thing in our books!

The two-piece consisting of Warren Tinsley and Andrew Thompson (drums), who have been playing in bands together for several years including F.O.G (Friends of Granleese), have also announced plans through Treason of a 10-track album in the works following the single’s release. The duo have been tearing up the venues of Belfast with their hurricane of distortion since December 2016 with no signs of slowing down yet!
Warren, speaking with Treason, gave us a flavour of what’s to come with the full-length.
“We have been recording tracks with Graham Davidson of Half Bap Studios [for the last while]. We are aiming to release 10 tracks next year…. The songs sound totally different from one another. We like to experiment with different sounds, dynamics and tones. The main vibe of the album would be the stoner punk rock vibe with many melodies. We take inspiration for songwriting from the likes of Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, The Clash and so forth. Then there is Rage Against the Machine with those funked up blues riffs. “
